General Rules

College fees must be paid regularly and punctually. Students must keep fee receipts issued to them and produce them , if needed .

1. Classes are held from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm. Students should reach the classes atleast 5 minutes before the time. Students are not permitted to come late. When classes are over, they should dispense with discipline and decorum.

2. The students must be in the college in time for the general prayer at the beginning of the college. They should keep silence during the general assembly and while moving to their respective classes.

3. The student should wear the uniform in prescribed days. Students shall not be found with folded up toughies or unbuttoned shirt in the college and premises except on occasions of manual labour. Wearing Students’ Identity Card is compulsory in all working days.

4. Every student must greet the teachers on meeting them in the college premise for the first time every day.

5. Students should be polite, friendly and well managed in and outside the college. They should be respectful to their teachers and be honest and truthful all the times.

6. Students should be clean, decent and modest in their dress and appearance. Student teacher must keep their classroom clean and tidy.

7. Student-teacher should have a deep respect and dedication to their work. Negligence in studies, failure in doing daily routine works, assignments and writing internal and model examination, irregular attendance, habitual idleness, disobedience, and disrespect towards members of staff are serious offence leading to expulsion from the college.

8. Students shall observe strict discipline while moving from one classroom to the other and also during intervals. Crowding on the verandah and doorway, shouting, loitering on the verandah etc, will be treated as an act of indiscipline.

9. No students shall leave the room when the class, lecture or programme is in progress except for unavoidable reasons. Leaving without permission is highly irregular.

10. Students are directed to utilise the library service to the maximum extent

11. No meeting or entertaining programme shall be organised without the permission of the Principal. Students are warned not to participate in any agitation against authority. Students should not engage in any activily hampering communal or religious harmony. Students are not permitted to circulate any notice or paste poster in the college campus without the prior permission of the principal.

12. Furniture and devices should not be misplaced or dislocated. The student shall not cause any damage to the building and property of the college. If any damage is caused, they shall be liable to bear the repair/ replacement charges.

13. Students are forbidden from entering the laboratory without the consent of the lecturer in charge.

14. Visitors other than guardians are not entertained in the campus.

15. Trainees should co - operate to maintain a " Clean - green plastic free campus "

16. Any office bearer of the college union, if found to be repeatedly violating the rules of conduct will be removed from office he / she holds.

17. Study tour is a compulsory co-curricular activity. All the students should participate in the same.

18. All the trainees should complete the teaching practice / internship programme without taking any leave. Every trainee should submit the sufficient number of practicums and practicals prescribed in the syllabus.

19. No student can out of the college without the permission from the Principal / Teachers.

20. No responsibility will be taken by the college authority for loss or damage of any costly materials brought by the students.

21. Attendance at official functions, independence day, republic day, college day etc. is compulsory.

22. Misuse of Mobile Phones is strictly prohibited in the campus. Students should kept their mobile phones silent during class hours. They are not permitted to use the college office phone except in extreme urgency.

23. The decision of the principal shall be final and binding. The Principal shall have the right to suspend or dismiss any student whose conduct is not satisfactory.
